Hmm, we develop CAPTCHA and this is a poor definition because it excludes certain types of CAPTCHA which don't require the user to dechiper a distorted image. A more inclusive definition which includes all varieties would be "an online test designed to distinguish human responses from those generated by artifical intelligence." www.adscaptcha.com
