Generation X and Generation Y were already covered in the Collins Dictionary, as per the comments from the editors on the Generation X & Y suggestion pages.

I submitted this word on August 4 that states that "Generation Z" is a candidate but yet it is stated a newly established word as well as "Generation X and Y" were also submitted and rejected, Please explain how this could be?
