Definition of “laser surgery”

laser surgery (ˈleɪzə ˈsɜːdʒərɪ)

surgery where a laser beam is used to cut tissue rather than a scalpel. Often used on the eyes to correct short-sighted or long-sighted vision.

And most laser surgery is not emergency surgery, it is scheduled and so can be rearranged to fit with climatic conditions.
