Snowbird is a well known expression in the USA other than what the other meaning is. It is a 2 fold meaning that also includes a Snowbird is a retiree that go to warmer climate during the winter months which is usually in the southern states of the USA. This is not included in the Collins Dictionary which it should be as the alternate description of the word Snowbird.
