Additional Information

From the Yorkshire region and in use by several generations of my family, extended family and friends in the area stretching from Dewsbury to Bradford. Also heard it's use near the yorkshire/lancashire border. Example sentence: 'That was delicious but I can't eat anymore. I'm absolutely pogged!'

Virtually everyone I know uses pogged, can't believe it's not in the dictionary yet

My brother first used this word at the dinner table when I was about 10 ( i.e. 57 years ago!) Nobody knew what it meant and it wasn't in the dictionary - but it absolutely describes the feeling of having overeaten!

I've been pogged many a time, this word is definitely worthy of a dictionary place!

Our family have always used this word when feeling full. I am a Londoner but with an ancestor from Dewsbury.
