If someone or something falls into disfavour, people start to dislike or disapprove of them. [formal] ⇒ He was in disfavour with the ruling party. ⇒ He fell into disfavor as the president fell in the polls. 2. uncountable noun [usu with N] If you look at someone or something with disfavour, the expression on your face shows that you dislike or disapprove of them.
