Cracked gas heat recovery is the process of recovering energy from cracked gas, which is used to produce high-pressure steam to drive turbines for compressor plants.
The cracked gas is passed through a second regenerative furnace section, the gas is cooled while warming the furnace, with resulting cracked gas heat recovery.
Cracked gas heat recovery is used to recover energy from cracked gas which then produces super high-pressure steam that is used to drive turbines coupled to large compressors.
