There was a time when a bad credit score would hold you from receiving any kind of credit or loans, but not anymore.
Firms that handle a large volume of credit information often use a formal system for
combining the various sources into an overall credit score.
A borrower's credit score is a number calculated by a credit bureau to express how likely they are to be able
to pay back their loans.
