Word forms: (regular plural) destination stores
The company designs its stores to be destination stores, generating their own traffic, but in the general vicinity of major retail shopping. It's not enough for a destination store just to attract customers from a long distance away but those customers have to be
persuaded to spend money there. A destination store draws customers by selling unusual items, or having a friendly atmosphere, special
pricing, and other desirable characteristics.
