With an investment bond, you invest a lump sum with an insurance company and get a little bit of life coverage,
but the rest is invested.
Investment bonds are popular investment plans sold by a life insurance company, whereby investors
pay in a lump sum which is invested in one or more collective funds.
An investment bond is a single-premium life insurance policy in which a fixed sum is invested in an
asset-backed fund (= a financial organization that invests in property or shares.)
