Cumulative quantity discounts are offered if a firm's purchases from a particular vendor exceed a specified quantity
or dollar value over a predetermined time period.
The retailer may receive quantity discounts from the supplier or manufacturer if its orders are large enough.
When you receive a quantity discount from a store or supplier, you pay less because you have bought a large quantity of
goods. Also known as bulk buying discount.
