( Electrical engineering : Circuits , Electrical power , Computing and control ) Resistive
A terminator is a resistive load placed at the end of a cable to prevent data signals from reflecting back into
the data path.
A resistive load is a resistor that is measured in ohms and is always the same regardless of
the signal voltage across it, AC or DC.
Resistive material shows electrical resistance.
