The stocking unit in your store for an item might be "each", but you might receive an item from your
vendor by the alternate unit "case".
This is the price per stocking unit, i.e. the unit in which you store the item.
A stocking unit is a measurement or number by which items are kept in inventory, for example by dozens,
kilograms, or cases.
